Candylicious!

The August 2011 Daring Bakers’ Challenge was hosted by Lisa of Parsley, Sage, Desserts and Line Drive and Mandy of What the Fruitcake?!. These two sugar mavens challenged us to make sinfully delicious candies! This was a special challenge for the Daring Bakers because the good folks at http://www.chocoley.com offered an amazing prize for the winner of the most creative and delicious candy!

This is my third Daring Bakers Challenge, and finally one I was able to complete before the deadline :-D
I liked the theme very much, and the results even better!

I decided to try a few different things, because I have a weak for everything sweet.

So here are:

Coconut Ice

Chocolate with a running caramel filling

Chocolate with a filling of almond and walnut paste

Chocolate with a filling of chewy caramel

Chocolate with a creamy coconut filling

Honeycomb

Pate de Fruit (blackberry)
